Location: Grover Sweets, Keshopur Industrial Area, near Krishna Park Extension or Janakpuri West Metro Station, Delhi NCR

Qualification: Graduate in any stream

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchase & Stores within the Sweets, Bakery, Restaurant, QSR, or Food Manufacturing Industry

Job SummaryGrover Sweets is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Purchase & Stores to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, inventory control, and store operations. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, packaging

materials, maintenance consumables, chemicals, and other operational requirements while maintaining optimum inventory levels and cost efficiency through ERP-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase Management

·      Procure Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Maintenance & Repair (M&R) items, chemicals, QA tools, and other operational requirements.

·      Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

·      Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution through ERP.

·      Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

·      Ensure timely procurement to avoid production and operational disruptions.

·      Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.

Stores Management·      

. Manage day-to-day store operations and inventory control.

·      Ensure proper receipt, storage, issuance, and stock reconciliation of materials.

·      Maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels.

·      Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verification.

·      Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward material movement.

·      Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Operations teams for material requirements.

·      Monitor inventory aging and reduce wastage and stock losses.

ERP & Reporting·      

. Manage purchase and stores transactions through ERP systems.

·      Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.

·      Generate MIS reports related to procurement, stock consumption, and inventory status.

·      Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company SOPs.
