Jr. Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Associate to handle day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, process invoices, and assist with financial reporting and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, Tally/ERP software, and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
2. Handle sales and purchase invoices, billing, and voucher entries.
3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
4. Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
5. Assist in GST calculations, returns, and other statutory compliance.
6. Maintain records of expenses, receipts, payments, and petty cash.
7. Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.
8. Verify bills, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
9. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payments and outstanding dues.
10. Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
11. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
12. Support the senior accountant or finance team with other accounting-related tasks.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger management.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

- B.Com, M.Com, or a relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Min. 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
