Social Media Specialist

Skills Required:

• Social media algorithms — Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and how each one distributes content
• Keyword research — for video topics and web pages, on day one
• YouTube optimization — titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, retention
• Content writing — hooks, captions, CTAs
• AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar, used properly for ideation, scripts, captions, and research. You should be able to get useful output, and more importantly, recognise when the output is generic or wrong and fix it yourself.
• Briefing a video editor — giving clear direction on hook, structure, pacing, and reference examples
• Design — Canva, for basic creatives
• Basic SEO — enough to execute on/off-page tasks accurately when they are assigned to you
• Analytics — Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Suite
• Hindi and English communication

Responsibilities:

• Plan and publish the daily content calendar across all platforms
• Research video and Reel topics using keyword research, not just trends
• Plan Reels and Shorts, and brief our video editor clearly — hook, structure, references, and what the video must achieve
• Handle comments, DMs, and community management
• Read insights weekly and adjust the plan based on the numbers
• Use AI tools to work faster on research, scripts, and drafts — while keeping the output in our brand voice
• Complete SEO tasks assigned to you - on-page changes, backlink, and similar
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports
• Content consistency, Reach on content on all platforms
