Store Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and responsible individual to manage factory stores, maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the proper handling and movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock & Inventory Management

·        Maintain Excel stock records for raw materials, finished goods and supplies.

·        Record all material receipts.

·        Conduct physical stock checks and resolve discrepancies.

2. Material Handling & Store Organisation

·        Verify incoming materials against invoices and delivery challans.

·        Ensure proper storage, labelling and identification of stock.

·        Issue materials to production against authorised requests.

·        Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.

3. Stock Control & Coordination

·        Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.

·        Track damaged goods, wastage and material discrepancies.

·        Coordinate with production and purchasing for material requirements.

4. Documentation & Reporting

·        Maintain stock registers, material issue records and daily inventory reports.

·        Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and on time.

·        Keep the store organised, clean and secure.

Requirements·        

·        Ability to maintain stock records and verify physical inventory.

·        Good coordination and communication skills.

·        Responsible, organised and attentive to detail

·        Ability to handle physical stock and coordinate with factory workers.

• Note: This is a hands-on factory stores role involving physical inventory management and record-keeping.
