Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit customers, dealers, and project sites to generate new business opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers for enquiries and orders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Coordinate with internal sales, technical, operations, and logistics teams.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries, orders, and customer requirements.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular field visit/sales reports.
• Identify new customers and business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Provide basic technical support and resolve customer queries.
• Travel regularly within Chennai and different locations across Tamil Nadu as required.

Eligibility:

• Freshers can apply if they are confident, willing to travel, and interested in field sales.
• Candidates with 1 year or more experience in field sales/technical sales are also welcome.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or a related engineering field is preferred, depending on the industry.
• Must be comfortable with regular travel within Chennai and Tamil Nadu.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel will be an advantage.
