Job Description

Cashier – Job DescriptionLocation: Chennai

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Experience: 1+ year preferred

Department: Finance & Accounting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash, billing, and daily transactions accurately.
  • Operate POS systems, computers, UPI, and card payment machines.
  • Manage cash reconciliation and maintain transaction records.
  • Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient cash handling.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Cashier/Billing Executive in a retail store or supermarket preferred.
  • Good knowledge of POS systems and digital payment methods.
  • Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
  • Good customer-handling and communication skills.
  • Freshers with good numerical and communication skills may also apply.
