Job Description

  • Key responsibilitiesCustomer service
  • Greet customers and take their orders.
  • Listen to customer preferences and prepare orders accordingly.
  • Handle questions and basic complaints politely.
  • Process cash, card, and other payments accurately.
  • Food preparation
  • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway procedures.
  • Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, meats, and bread.
  • Follow food-safety and hygiene standards.
  • Check ingredient quality and freshness.
  • Restaurant operations
  • Keep the counter, dining area, kitchen, and equipment clean.
  • Refill ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures.
  • Help with stock rotation and inventory checks.
  • Teamwork
  • Work effectively with other team members during busy periods.
  • Communicate orders and tasks clearly.
  • Support colleagues when the restaurant is busy.
  • Follow instructions from the shift supervisor or restaurant manager.
  • Health & safety
  • Follow food-handling and personal-hygiene requirements.
  • Use equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Report equipment problems, spills, or safety issues to the supervisor.
