JOB DESCRIPTION: PLANT MANAGER - WET WIPES MANUFACTURING Company: XTRACARE HYGIENE PVT LTD

Location: Bommasandra Phase-1, Bangalore, Karnataka

Industry: Wet Wipes / Nonwoven Hygiene Products

Salary: ₹70,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month + Performance Bonus (Based on Experience)

Open Positions: 1 (Plant Head) 1. ROLE SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead our 16-Lane Flow Pack Wet Wipe manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in wet wipes / nonwoven / tissue / hygiene industry and be capable of handling complete plant operations from RM to FG dispatch.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Plant Management & Operations Full responsibility of day-to-day plant operations, shift management Ensure machine uptime >90% for 16-Lane Flow Pack + Wet Wipe Converting Machines Implement SOPs, GMP, ISO 22716, ISO 9001, Hygiene standards Ensure safety, EHS compliance, fire safety, statutory compliance (Factory Act, Pollution Board)B. Production Planning & Control (PPC)Prepare daily / weekly / monthly production plan as per sales forecast Plan RM requirement: Nonwoven rolls, Lids, Laminates, Liquid Chemicals, Cartons Monitor OEE, Wastage Control, Output per shift, Line Efficiency Reduce downtime, manage breakdowns with maintenance team

C. Quality Control (QC/QA) Knowledge Strong knowledge of wet wipes testing: GSM, Liquid % (Lotion dosage), pH, Microbial testing, Seal strength, count per pack Handle customer complaints, internal QC rejection, CAPA Audit preparation for ISO, GMP, customer audits (Himalaya, P&G standard) Ensure batch records, BMR, COA maintained. Manpower Management Manage team of 40-60 people: Machine Operators, QC Executives, Helpers, Electricians, Store In charge Shift allocation, attendance, OT control, training of operators on flow pack, liquid dosing, web tension Performance appraisal, discipline, reduce attrition Contractor management. Inventory & Store Management Control inventory of Nonwoven Fabric (Spun lace, Air laid), Chemicals (IPA, Preservatives), Packing Material Implement FIFO, ABC analysis, physical stock verification monthly Coordinate with Purchase & Accounts for low stock alerts, dead stock control Minimize inventory holding cost and wastage. Nonwoven Fabric Knowledge - MUST HAVE Deep understanding of Nonwoven: Spun lace 40-80 GSM, Cross-lap, DOT, Perf size, Roll width, GSM variation, Absorbency Knowledge of fabric sourcing, GSM testing, fabric defects, lot variation Vendor development for nonwoven, laminate film, sticker

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Education: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma - Mechanical / Production / Chemical OR M.Sc. Chemistry (with plant experience)Experience: 8-15 Years in Wet Wipes / Nonwoven / Tissue / Hygiene / FMCG Manufacturing as Plant Manager / Production Manager / Factory Manager Mandatory: Must have worked in wet wipe factory with Flow Pack / Multi-lane machine Age: 32-48 Years Location Preference: Candidates in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai hygiene belt preferred4.
