Accountant

The role

You'll look after our books, GST compliance and front office. You'll report directly to the partners. This is a hands-on role in a small team where accuracy and follow-through matter.

Accounts & compliance

• Maintain day-to-day books in Tally Prime: sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals and expense entries
• Raise sales invoices, e-invoices and e-way bills
• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B on time
• Reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase register, and follow up with vendors on mismatches or missing ITC
• Do monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts
• Track receivables and payables, and send reminders to customers
• Prepare vendor payment lists for partner approval
• Support payroll inputs, attendance records and TDS data
• Coordinate with our CA for month-end, audits and returns

Front office

• Receive visitors, customers and vendors, and handle calls
• Manage inward and outward documents, couriers, and filing of bills and challans
• Maintain office records and stationery

What we're looking for

• B.Com or equivalent, with 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (a manufacturing background is a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime, the GST portal, and reconciliation
• Comfortable with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots)
• Good English and Kannada; Hindi is a plus
• Organised, reliable and punctual, and comfortable working independently
