Purchase Head

Seva Vivek Foundation is looking for an experienced and responsible Purchase Head to manage and oversee the organization's overall procurement operations. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, identifying and developing new vendors, maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating prices, payment terms and delivery schedules, preparing and managing Purchase Orders (PO), evaluating quotations, comparing vendor rates, and ensuring timely procurement of materials. The role also includes purchase planning, monitoring stock requirements, maintaining purchase records, coordinating with the inventory, warehouse, accounts and dispatch departments, ensuring quality standards, controlling procurement costs, and maintaining transparency in all purchasing activities. The candidate should have strong negotiation, communication and vendor management skills, knowledge of MS Excel and purchase/inventory management systems, and relevant experience in procurement and purchase operations. Previous experience in a purchase supervisory or managerial role will be preferred.
