Pioneer Embroideries Limited is a publicly listed company and a 60-year-old heritage brand in embroidery and textiles, known for Hakoba. Embroidery is the heart of our business. We have multiple production units and export to over 23 countries. We are now launching our e-commerce business from Surat, focused on women's garments and embroidered accessories such as laces and motifs. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced merchandiser with strong personal contacts across the Surat textile and garment market. You will work with our team to select women's wear products for online sale, source them through your Surat network, and manage the process of bringing them into stock and ready to ship on e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•         Work with the team to select SKUs for our online store based on e-commerce trends, customer demand and pricing.

•         Source women's garments, kurta sets, ethnic wear, embroidered fabrics, laces, motifs and trims through your Surat market contacts.

•         Use your network of manufacturers, wholesalers, embroidery units and job workers in Surat to find the right products quickly and at the right price.

•         Coordinate with our production units, suppliers and job workers for timely delivery.

•         Plan and track inventory so products are always available for online orders.

•         Check quality, colour, sizing, embroidery and finishing before products are stocked.

•         Negotiate prices and build long-term vendor relationships.

•         Maintain records of purchases, stock and supplier details.

•         Coordinate with the e-commerce team for product listings, photoshoots and new launches.

Requirements

•         Experience as a merchandiser in women's garments, ethnic wear or embroidery.

•         Strong personal network in the Surat market: manufacturers, wholesalers, embroidery units, job workers, lace and trim suppliers.

•         Must know Surat well, including which products are available and where (Ring Road textile markets, Udhana, Pandesara, Sachin, and other garment and embroidery hubs).

•         Good understanding of embroidery work, fabrics, laces and women's ethnic wear.

•         Understanding of what sells online (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho) is a strong advantage.

•         Good negotiation and vendor management skills.

•         Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, WhatsApp).

•         Language: Gujarati and Hindi required; basic English preferred.

Preference will be given to:

•         Candidates with an existing network of Surat garment and embroidery suppliers.

•         Candidates with e-commerce merchandising experience in women's wear.

•         Candidates living in or near Udhana, Surat.
