Job Description
- Track and maintain accurate digital or manual stock registers for raw materials, sheets, flanges, components, and shop-floor consumables.
- Monitor minimum stock levels, reorder points, and buffer stock to prevent production line stoppages.
- Oversee stock rotation principles such as FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) for raw materials with shelf lives.
- Inspect incoming shipments of raw materials and parts against purchase orders (POs), delivery challans, and quality check sheets.
- Verify quantities, check for transit damages, and report discrepancies or rejections to the procurement/quality department. YouTube·Irritating Facts
- Coordinate the transfer of finished goods from the assembly line into the finished goods warehouse.
- Manage packing, labeling, loading, and dispatch logistics in alignment with customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure store and warehouse premises remain clean, organized, and compliant with industrial safety and fire-prevention protocols.
