Loan Operations Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Business Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end loan and business operations, accounting coordination, compliance, and system management. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operational workflows across branches, drive process efficiency, and act as a key liaison between operations, accounts, credit, and technology teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

• Oversee end-to-end operational workflows including verification, approvals, processing, and closure of transactions/cases.
• Coordinate with branches, credit, accounts, and technology teams to ensure smooth and timely processing.
• Manage documentation, KYC compliance, and regulatory requirements across all operational activities.
• Monitor operational reports, track pending cases, and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records within core operating systems (LOS/LMS or equivalent).
• Oversee payment processing, transaction tracking, and reconciliation (RTGS/NEFT/UTR).

Financial Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with accounts team on reconciliations, reporting, and financial record accuracy.
• Support GST/TDS reconciliation processes and statutory return filings.
• Prepare and present MIS, operational, and audit reports to management.
• Conduct variance and funds flow analysis to support financial decision-making.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (RBI/NBFC or applicable industry standards) and internal SOPs.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audit processes.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks through proactive monitoring and controls.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Drive system implementation, upgrades, and integration projects across branches.
• Coordinate with software vendors/IT teams for issue resolution, UAT, and deployment.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support user training and change management during system rollouts.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Train and guide branch/operations staff on processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Resolve escalations related to operational or customer queries in a timely manner.

RequirementsExperience: 5+ years in business/loan operations, financial operations, or a related field (NBFC/BFSI experience preferred).

Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP B1, Tally ERP, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of LOS/LMS platforms.
• Strong command of MS Office/MS-CIT.
