Job Description
Key responsibilities: Prepare daily food as per menu and recipe standards; handle Indian, Chinese, veg and non-veg dishes as required; maintain consistent taste, portion size and food quality; plan preparation work, cutting, marination, gravies and sauces; manage cooking during busy hours; maintain kitchen cleanliness and food-safety standards; monitor stock and inform management about raw-material requirements; minimize wastage and control food cost; properly store ingredients and prepared food; maintain cleanliness of utensils, equipment and cooking area; coordinate with helpers and other kitchen staff; follow management instructions and customer requirements; and ensure timely preparation and service of all orders.
Candidate requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant cooking experience preferred; good knowledge of kitchen operations; ability to prepare multiple dishes independently; knowledge of hygiene and safe food handling; disciplined, punctual and responsible; able to work under pressure; and willing to maintain consistent quality every day.
