Production Supervisor

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations

• Supervise daily electroplating operations and production schedules
• Monitor plating processes, chemical baths, and equipment performance
• Ensure production targets and timelines are met
• Manage manpower and material utilization efficiently
• Maintain plating solution concentrations and parameters

Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise electroplating operators and technicians
• Assign daily tasks and monitor work progress
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and team coordination

Quality & Inspection

• Monitor plating quality and adherence to specifications
• Inspect finished components for defects or inconsistencies
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly
• Maintain quality records and documentation

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe working practices and proper use of PPE
• Enforce workplace safety rules and regulations
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and responsibly
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report safety incidents and near-misses

Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure proper upkeep of plating tanks, machinery, and equipment
• Report equipment breakdowns for timely repairs
• Monitor power and chemical supply systems

Required QualificationsEducation

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Electroplating / Metal Coating / Surface Treatment, OR
• Engineering Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical / Metallurgy)

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electroplating or surface treatment
• Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Knowledge of zinc plating, chrome plating, nickel plating, or similar processes

Certifications (Preferred)

• OSHA / Safety Training Certificate
• First Aid / CPR Certification
• Chemical Handling Certificate
• Key Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of electroplating processes and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Leadership and communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Physical fitness for standing, walking, and occasional lifting
• Computer literacy (for record-keeping and reporting)
• Working ConditionsManufacturing environment with chemical exposure (PPE mandatory)
• Standing and walking most of the shift
• Shift work (if applicable)
• Regular interaction with team and management
