Accountant – Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
  • Record daily transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, income-tax, and other statutory compliance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Use accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar systems.
