Job Title: Estimation and Billing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation and Billing Engineer to prepare accurate project estimates, manage client and contractor billing, and monitor project costs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, billing processes, and construction project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, electrical, mechanical, or infrastructure projects.
• Study drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Perform quantity take-offs from project drawings.
• Prepare rate analysis and cost comparisons.
• Prepare client bills (RA Bills), contractor bills, and final bills.
• Verify subcontractor and vendor bills before processing.
• Track project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and finance teams.
• Maintain billing records, measurement books (MB), and project documentation.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid submissions, and contract documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project timelines.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of estimation, billing, BOQ preparation, and quantity surveying.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of rate analysis and project costing.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and tendering procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
