About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team and help learners choose the right online courses based on their career goals, interests, and professional requirements.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to convert enquiries into successful course enrollments.

• Key ResponsibilitiesConnect with prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand students' educational background, career goals, and learning requirements.
• Counsel students and recommend suitable online courses and programs.
• Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, learning methodology, certification, and career benefits.
• Follow up with interested leads and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
• Convert qualified leads into course enrollments and achieve monthly sales/admission targets.
• Address students' questions and objections professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems.
• Coordinate with academic, operations, and support teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
• Stay updated about available courses, market trends, and competitors.
• Deliver a positive and professional student experience from enquiry to enrollment.
• RequirementsBachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, inside sales, tele-calling, or a related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Comfortable working with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools, MS Excel, and communication platforms.
• Candidates with experience in online education, EdTech, or course sales will be preferred.
