Job Description
Role Summary
Looking for a Purchase Executive to handle day-to-day procurement — vendor sourcing, negotiation, and order follow-ups — for our setup in Jahangir Puri, Delhi.
Job Details
- Position: Purchase Executive
- Experience: 1–5 years
- Salary: Up to ₹24,000 per month
- Location: Jahangir Puri, Delhi
Key Responsibilities
- Source new vendors and compare quotations for materials and supplies
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and maintain purchase records
- Follow up with vendors on order status and timely delivery
- Coordinate with stores/accounts teams on stock levels and inward entries
- Maintain vendor files, rate lists, and purchase-related documentation
- Resolve issues related to short supply, quality, or delayed deliveries
Requirements
- Graduate (any stream)
- 1–5 years of purchase/procurement experience
- Working knowledge of MS Excel; Tally or ERP basics preferred
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
