About the Role


Robot Genie is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team and work on digital growth, lead generation, brand visibility and performance marketing activities for our clients.


The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of social media, content marketing, SEO, paid advertising and digital analytics, with a strong focus on lead generation, campaign performance and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities


1. Digital Marketing Strategy


- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies based on business objectives.

- Assist in creating monthly digital marketing plans and content calendars.

- Research competitors, market trends and target audiences.

- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaign planning and execution.

- Track campaign performance and recommend improvements.


2. Social Media Marketing


- Manage and optimise Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X/Twitter accounts.

- Plan and schedule regular social media content.

- Coordinate with content and creative teams for posts, reels, graphics and videos.

- Monitor engagement, reach, followers and other relevant metrics.

- Respond to audience engagement and identify opportunities for brand growth.

- Maintain consistency in brand messaging and communication.


3. Google & Meta Ads


- Assist in planning, launching and managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.

- Conduct audience and keyword research.

- Create and test different campaign audiences and creatives.

- Monitor CPL, CTR, CPC, conversions and other campaign KPIs.

- Perform A/B testing and campaign optimisation.

- Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend corrective actions.

- Maintain campaign reports and performance dashboards.


4. Lead Generation


- Develop and execute campaigns focused on generating qualified leads.

- Analyse lead quality and conversion performance.

- Coordinate with the inside-sales/admissions team to understand lead quality.

- Identify sources producing the best-performing leads.

- Suggest improvements to landing pages, forms, creatives and targeting.


5. SEO


- Perform basic keyword research and competitor analysis.

- Assist with on-page SEO optimisation.

- Support technical SEO audits and identify website issues.

- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.

- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic.

- Prepare regular SEO performance reports.


6. Content Marketing


- Research topics relevant to the target audience.

- Suggest content ideas for blogs, social media, YouTube and campaigns.

- Work with writers, designers and video editors to execute content.

- Ensure content is aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

- Assist with content distribution and performance tracking.


7. YouTube & Video Marketing


- Support YouTube channel growth and optimisation.

- Research video topics, keywords, titles and descriptions.

- Assist in developing Shorts/Reels ideas.

- Analyse YouTube performance metrics such as views, watch time, CTR and audience retention.

- Coordinate with the video team for publishing and optimisation.


8. Analytics & Reporting


- Monitor Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads and social media insights.

- Track leads, traffic, engagement, conversions and campaign performance.

- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.

- Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.

- Maintain accurate campaign and performance data.


9. Team Coordination


- Coordinate with Performance Marketing, Content, Creative, SEO, Sales and Reporting teams.

- Follow instructions from the Marketing Manager/Team Lead.

- Complete assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.

- Participate in weekly performance reviews and team meetings.

- Communicate blockers or delays immediately.

- Check active campaigns and performance.

- Monitor leads and campaign metrics.

- Review social media activities.

- Coordinate pending content/creative requirements.

- Check website/landing-page performance.

- Analyse campaign and lead quality.

- Complete assigned optimisation tasks.

- Update task/project management systems.

- Share important issues with the reporting manager.


Weekly Responsibilities


- Prepare campaign performance summary.

- Review CPL, CTR, CPC and conversion data.

- Analyse social media growth.

- Review SEO progress.

- Identify underperforming campaigns.

- Suggest new campaign/content ideas.

- Participate in weekly review meetings.


Monthly Responsibilities


- Prepare monthly digital marketing performance report.

- Analyse overall lead-generation performance.

- Review SEO and social media growth.

- Prepare next month's campaign recommendations.

- Contribute to the monthly content calendar.

- Identify opportunities for improving ROI and conversions.

4. Client account passwords/access credentials must never be shared with unauthorised persons.

5. Marketing budgets must be used strictly according to approved plans.

6. No misleading claims regarding fees, eligibility, accreditation, placements, salary or outcomes.

7. All assigned tasks must be completed within the agreed timeline.

8. Any delay, technical issue or campaign problem must be reported immediately.

9. Company/client data must not be downloaded, copied or shared for personal use.

10. Candidate must maintain professional conduct in all internal and client communications.

11. All reports and campaign data must be accurate and up to date.

12. The employee must follow company SOPs, reporting structures and security policies.

13. Any use of client logos, institutional names, photographs or promotional material must follow the approved process.

14. The employee must not independently commit the company/client to any commercial arrangement.
