Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chinese & Continental Chef to join our cafe during its opening phase. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Chinese and Continental cuisine and a passion for preparing fresh, delicious, flavorful, and consistently high-quality food.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Continental dishes according to the cafe’s menu.
- Ensure every dish is tasty, well-presented, and consistent in quality.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth food preparation and service.
- Help develop and improve recipes and menu items suitable for the cafe.
- Maintain proper portion sizes and control food wastage.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before preparation.
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with suppliers when required.
- Train and guide kitchen staff to maintain consistent taste and presentation.
- Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining food quality.
