Job Description
- Supervise fabricators, welders, fitters, and helpers.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Plan daily fabrication activities and allocate manpower.
- Monitor cutting, bending, welding, grinding, fitting, and assembly.
- Check dimensions, weld quality, and overall workmanship.
- Ensure work follows safety procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, design, stores, and quality-control teams.
- Track material usage and minimize fabrication wastage.
- Maintain production records and report progress to management.
- Troubleshoot fabrication problems and ensure deadlines are met.
