Job Description
Job Description – Assistant Accountant
Location : Borivali, Mumbai
Experience : Experienced candidates can apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting entries in Tally Prime
- Maintain sales, purchase, expense, and payment records
- Perform bank reconciliation, cash book management, and voucher posting
- Assist in basic GST filing and compliance work
- Prepare and update ledgers, invoices, and supporting documents
- Handle email drafting and follow-ups with clients and vendors
- Assist senior accountant with monthly closing and audit documentation
- Maintain organized accounting and billing files
- Coordinate with vendors/customers regarding billing and payment queries Required Skills
- Good command of Tally Prime
- Basic understanding of GST filing
- Strong accounting knowledge (B.com preferred)
- Good communication and email handling skills
- Basic Excel knowledge - Detail-oriented and responsible attitude
Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / Accounting-related degree
- 1 – 5 years of Experience in Accounting.
