Store Associate

Major responsibilities

Inventory & Space Management Support:

· Assist in the efficient inward and outward movement of materials, ensuring that materials are stored and retrieved as per the production plan.

· Help with the timely preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and ensure accurate stock transfers.

· Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or abnormalities to the Stores Manager.

Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams:

· Liaise with production, calibration, PPC, purchase, and packing teams to ensure materials are available for smooth production operations.

· Ensure alignment with the production plan and escalate issues related to material availability to the Stores Manager.

Documentation and Material Movement:

· Prepare and maintain documents related to the movement of materials within and outside the facility, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Ensure all material movements are recorded in SAP and that records are updated in real-time for proper tracking.

Continuous Improvement Participation:

· Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving space utilization, inventory control, and material flow within the stores.

· Provide feedback to the Stores Manager on areas for improvement and contribute to the store’s ramp-up and optimization efforts.

· Support SAP reviews by providing input and resolving minor SAP-related issues related to inventory and store management.

Compliance and Health & Safety:

·  Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the store.

· Conduct regular checks to ensure that the store adheres to ISO requirements and safety protocols.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

·  Monitor the store’s day-to-day operations, providing regular updates on performance metrics such as inventory accuracy and material availability.

·  Identify areas where improvements can be made in inventory management, space optimization, and material movement processes.

Support Skill Development of Store Associates:

·  Participate in the training and skill enhancement of store associates by sharing knowledge and providing on-the-job guidance.
