Purchase Executive (construction)

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and develop reliable vendors for construction materials

* Procure materials like cement, TMT steel, bricks, tiles, paint, plumbing & electrical items

* Compare quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and contracts

* Prepare and process purchase orders (POs)

* Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites

* Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and store teams

* Maintain stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking

* Monitor market rates and update management on price fluctuations

* Ensure quality standards and specifications are met

* Handle vendor payments and follow-up with accounts team

* Maintain proper purchase records, invoices, and documentation

Required Skills:

* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

* Knowledge of construction materials and market rates

* Good communication and coordination ability

* Cost control and budgeting understanding

* Bachelor’s degree

* 1 to 3 years of experience 

Salarry

20000 to 25000

Preferred Experience:

* Experience in real estate / infrastructure / EPC companies

* Knowledge of local supplier market
