Job Description
Position: Admission Counselor
Industry: Education
Location: Sector 82, Mohali
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents about courses and admission procedures.
- Understand students’ requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle leads and enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Regularly follow up with prospective students.
- Convert leads into successful admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission and sales targets.
- Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Handle student/parent queries professionally.
- Coordinate with the academic and admissions team.
- Stay updated about courses, programs, and admission offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1+ year experience in Admission Counselling / Education Sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation skills.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion abilities.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Comfortable communicating with students and parents.
- Basic MS Office/CRM knowledge is an advantage.
