Video Content Editor

Role Objective: Create engaging, high-retention short-form video content for Tvishi across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms, while maintaining the brand’s natural, relatable and founder-led style.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesEdit Reels & Short Videos – Convert raw footage into engaging reels, product videos, customer stories, founder videos, educational content and promotional creatives.
2. Create Strong Hooks – Use the first 2–3 seconds effectively with text, cuts, visuals and audio to improve viewer retention.
3. Storytelling & Flow – Turn raw clips into simple, relatable stories rather than merely combining footage.
4. Captions & Text Overlays – Add clean, readable subtitles, hooks, highlights and CTAs in Tamil, Tanglish and English as required.
5. Trend-Based Editing – Keep track of trending reel formats, transitions, memes, music and editing styles and adapt relevant trends for Tvishi.
6. Product & Brand Content – Understand Tvishi's skin, hair, bodycare and gifting products and present their benefits visually without making the content look overly sales-driven.
7. Founder-Led Content – Edit talking-head videos featuring the founders, including removing pauses, improving pacing, adding B-roll, zooms, captions and supporting visuals.
8. Creative Repurposing – Convert one shoot or long-form video into multiple reels, stories, teasers, testimonials and other reusable content pieces.
9. Maintain Brand Consistency – Follow Tvishi's fonts, colours, logo placement, visual identity and overall natural, warm and relatable communication style.
10. Content Organisation & Delivery – Maintain organised raw footage/project files and deliver videos according to the agreed content calendar and timelines.

Preferred Skills: CapCut/Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve or similar editing tools, Canva, good understanding of Instagram/Reels, basic Tamil understanding, strong visual sense and the ability to identify what makes people stop, watch, engage and share.
