Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and accounts.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.
- Record daily income, expenses, purchases, and sales.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with GST, TDS, filings, as applicable.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers or vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Use accounting software such as Tally and Excel.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting errors.
- Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related information.
