Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Opening – Accountant | CA Firm. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm.

Position: Accountant. Experience Required: 1.5 to 2+ Years

Industry Preference: Candidates currently working in, or previously associated with, a CA firm are preferred.

• Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Strong working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
• Preparation and finalisation of books of accounts

GST Compliance

• GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns
• GST reconciliation and ITC matching
• Basic handling of GST notices/compliance matters

Income Tax Compliance

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns
• Basic knowledge of computation of taxable income
• Working knowledge of Income Tax portal

TDS Compliance

• TDS calculation and deduction
• Preparation and filing of TDS returns
• TDS reconciliation and working knowledge of TRACES

Bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny

Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules

• Assisting in tax audits, statutory audits and other assignments
• Handling client accounting and compliance-related requirements
• Candidate RequirementsMinimum 1.5–2 years of practical experience
• Sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax and TDS
• Strong accounting concepts and practical experience in Tally Prime
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to independently handle accounting and routine statutory compliances
• Candidates having CA Firm experience will be given preference
• Responsible, detail-oriented and capable of meeting statutory deadlines

Qualification B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Other relevant qualification

Candidates with strong practical experience in a CA firm will be preferred.
