Soldering Operator

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs, including through-hole and

SMD components.

2. Carry out PCB rework, desoldering, component replacement, and repair of defective

electronic assemblies.

3. Assemble electronic products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, BOMs,

and quality requirements.

4. Inspect solder joints and assembled PCBs for defects such as insufficient solder, solder

bridges, cold joints, lifted pads, and component misalignment.

5. Identify soldering and assembly defects and perform appropriate rework and corrective

actions.

6. Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), safety, and handling procedures during all production

activities.

7. Operate soldering stations, soldering irons, hot-air/rework stations, and other related

equipment safely and effectively.

8. Perform visual inspection and quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specified

workmanship standards.

9. Maintain proper 5S, cleanliness, and organization of the workstation and production area.

10. Maintain good communication with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve

assembly and rework issues.

11. Complete production and inspection records accurately as required.

12. Work independently as well as effectively within a team to meet production targets and

quality requirements.
