Production Shift In-Charge - Plastic Extrusion

We are hiring a Production Shift Supervisor for our plastic extrusion manufacturing unit at Parmeshwari Polyplast (India) Pvt. Ltd., Poly Park, Sankrail, Howrah.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take complete charge of the extrusion unit during the assigned shift
• Execute production as per daily plan and achieve shift-wise targets
• Monitor machines, output, material consumption & process parameters
• Minimize downtime, rejection, wastage, and rework
• Troubleshoot process/machine issues; coordinate with Maintenance on breakdowns
• Supervise operators & helpers; allocate manpower, monitor attendance & performance
• Ensure product quality; coordinate with QC on deviations and corrective actions
• Ensure safety compliance, PPE usage, and 5S/housekeeping standards
• Maintain shift production records and ensure proper shift handover
• Escalate critical issues to Production Manager / Plant Head

Requirements:

• Diploma in Plastics Technology / Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field
• CIPET-qualified candidates preferred
• Prior experience in plastic extrusion or manufacturing operations preferred
• Strong team-handling, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
• Willingness to work rotational shifts as per roster

Work Details:

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Shift Timing: 12-hour rotational shift — Day (8 AM–8 PM) / Night (8 PM–8 AM)
• Weekly compulsory rotational shift as per company production roster

Note: Candidates must be fully comfortable working both day and night shifts on a weekly rotational basis — this is compulsory and non-negotiable for this role.
