Travel Consultant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused and sales-oriented Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, excellent communication skills and the ability to convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding clients' travel requirements, designing customized holiday packages, preparing quotations, coordinating bookings and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Handle travel enquiries received through phone calls, WhatsApp, website, social media and other lead sources.

Understand customers' travel preferences, budgets, dates and requirements.

Design and sell customized domestic and international holiday packages.

Prepare detailed travel itineraries, quotations and package proposals.

Recommend suitable hotels, transportation, sightseeing and activities.

Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, destination management companies (DMCs) and other travel suppliers.

Negotiate competitive rates with vendors to maintain package profitability.

Manage booking confirmations, payments, vouchers and travel documentation.

Maintain accurate customer records and update lead status regularly.

Handle customer queries, complaints and last-minute changes professionally.

Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.

Build long-term customer relationships to generate repeat bookings and referrals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate or diploma holder; travel and tourism qualification preferred.

1–3 years of experience in travel sales or holiday package operations preferred.

Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also apply.

Good knowledge of Indian and international tourist destinations.

Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.

Excellent customer handling, negotiation and sales-conversion skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, email, WhatsApp Business and basic CRM tools.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer enquiries.

Positive attitude, teamwork and a target-oriented approach.

Preferred Destination Knowledge

Domestic: Andaman, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Goa.

International: Thailand, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Bali, Vietnam, Maldives and other popular holiday destinations.
