About the RoleWe are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Sales Officer to join the team of a well-known bank. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, promoting banking and financial products, generating leads, and achieving assigned sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities·        Generate new business through customer acquisition and lead generation.

·        Identify prospective customers through field visits, references, leads and other sources.

·        Promote and sell suitable banking products such as loans, credit cards, current/savings accounts and other financial products.

·        Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate banking solutions.

·        Explain product features, eligibility criteria, charges, documentation and terms to customers.

·        Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.

·        Convert leads into successful applications and achieve monthly sales targets.

·        Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify cross-selling opportunities.

·        Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, verification and smooth processing of applications.

·        Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions and sales activities.

·        Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines and ethical sales practices.

Required Skills·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Strong sales, convincing and negotiation abilities.

·        Customer-focused approach with good relationship-building skills.

·        Target-oriented and self-motivated personality.

·        Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.

·        Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.

·        Hindi communication is essential; good English communication will be an advantage.

·        Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and business development.

·        Prior experience in Banking / BFSI / Sales / Loans / Insurance / Credit Cards will be preferred.
