About the Role

Kasturi Creations is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, social media trends, and fashion content, with the ability to transform raw footage into compelling videos that strengthen our brand presence and drive customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and website campaigns.
• Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, ad creatives, and product showcases.
• Collaborate with the marketing, content, and design teams to develop impactful visual content.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and music to enhance videos.
• Ensure videos align with the brand's visual identity and communication guidelines.
• Manage video assets, organize project files, and meet content deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, trends, and platform best practices.
• Assist during video shoots and contribute creative ideas for campaign storytelling.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent editing software).
• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience in editing short-form and long-form digital content.
• Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience in fashion, retail, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands will be an added advantage.
• A strong portfolio showcasing social media content, advertisements, or brand campaigns is mandatory.
