CNC/ VMC Milling Operator & Setter

We are hiring a skilled CNC / VMC / HMC Machine Operator & Setter to handle 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setting, basic programming, part prove-outs, and maintaining high precision for aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setting: Setup, operate, and troubleshoot 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC, VMC, and HMC milling machines.
• Part Prove-out: Successfully perform complete part prove-outs on 3, 4, and 5-axis milling setups.
• Programming & Controls: Handle basic programming and machine operations on Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma control systems.
• Tooling & Parameters: Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and optimize cutting parameters (feeds/speeds) specifically for aerospace materials.
• Quality & Inspection: Read and interpret engineering drawings, apply GD&T standards, and perform precise dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a CNC / VMC / HMC Milling Operator and Setter.
• Hands-on experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
• Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma controllers.
• Expertise in drawing reading, GD&T, and workshop measuring tools (micrometer, vernier, CMM/height gauge basics).
• Experience in machining aerospace alloys/materials is preferred.
