General Manager Operations

OM Security & Cleaning Services is seeking an experienced General Manager, Operations to lead its security services operations across all client sites. The role carries full accountability for manpower deployment, service quality, client satisfaction, statutory compliance and operational cost control.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

• Plan, deploy and monitor guards, supervisors and field officers across all sites
• Implement site-specific SOPs, post orders and duty rosters
• Review daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and MIS
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and surprise checks
• Manage incidents, emergencies and escalations effectively

Client Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular reviews and meetings
• Ensure timely resolution of client complaints and continuously improve service quality
• Conduct site surveys and manage manpower planning and mobilisation for new sites
• Support contract renewals and client retention

Manpower Management

• Coordinate recruitment, deployment and replacement of security personnel
• Oversee attendance, shift planning and relief arrangements
• Drive training, discipline and performance standards
• Reduce attrition and ensure consistent manpower availability

Compliance and Statutory Requirements

• Ensure compliance with the PSARA Act and controlling authority requirements
• Ensure adherence to labour laws, including PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, Bonus and the Contract Labour Act
• Maintain records of police verification, training and licensing for all personnel
• Keep documentation audit-ready for client and government inspections

Cost Control and Billing Support

• Coordinate with HR and Accounts to provide accurate attendance data for timely billing
• Monitor site-wise profitability and operational costs
• Control the issue and usage of uniforms, equipment and consumables
• Support recovery of outstanding payments

Team Leadership

• Lead Area Managers, Operations Managers, Field Officers and Supervisors
• Set KPIs and conduct periodic performance reviews
• Submit timely operational reports to management
• Qualifications and ExperienceGraduate in any discipline
• 10 to 15 years of experience in the security services industry, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role
• Prior experience in a private security company is mandatory
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations with large manpower .
• Ex-Armed Forces or Police officers with subsequent private security industry experience will be perffered
