Electrical Service Technician

Experience

• Freshers can apply.
• 1–3 years of relevant electrical experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in electrical panel wiring, control panels, industrial electrical systems or automation is preferred.
• Experience is not a strict constraint for candidates with good practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out control panel wiring according to electrical drawings and schematics.
• Assist in manufacturing and assembly of electrical control panels such as PLC, MCC, APFC and distribution panels.
• Install, test and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of control panels and automation systems at customer locations.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and support timely resolution.
• Perform basic electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and service requirements.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure safe working practices.
• Assist senior engineers/technicians during site visits and service activities.
• Maintain basic service and maintenance documentation.

Technical Skills

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of control panels and electrical components
• Basic understanding of PLC, MCC, APFC, DB panels
• Knowledge of contactors, relays, MCBs, overload relays, VFDs and sensors will be an advantage
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Awareness of electrical safety practices

Knowledge of PLC/HMI, VFD, switchgear, sensors and other automation components would be an added advantage given the company's automation work.

• Good in communication
