Social Media Marketing Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Bimla Traders' Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other social media accounts.
• Create and publish engaging content including Reels, posts, stories, product videos, offers and promotional creatives.
• Develop a monthly social media content calendar aligned with products, offers, campaigns and business goals.
• Shoot and edit short-form videos/Reels showcasing products, features, demonstrations, offers and customer use cases.
• Write engaging captions, hooks, CTAs and promotional copy.
• Research trends, hashtags, sounds and content formats relevant to our target audience.
• Increase followers, engagement, reach and overall brand visibility organically.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns and contests to increase customer engagement and leads.
• Coordinate with the sales/e-commerce team to promote products, offers, launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Manage and respond to relevant comments, DMs and customer queries or coordinate with the customer-support team.
• Track social media performance and prepare regular reports covering reach, engagement, followers, views, leads and conversions.
• Monitor competitors and identify new opportunities for content and marketing.
• Assist in managing Meta Ads/paid social media campaigns, including basic campaign setup, monitoring and performance analysis.
• Experiment with new content ideas and continuously improve performance based on data.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing or Content Marketing.
• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta Business Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
• Basic skills in video editing using tools such as CapCut, Canva, VN, Premiere Pro or similar software.
• Good written communication skills in English and Hindi/Punjabi.
• Ability to create attractive and engaging social media content.
• Understanding of social media analytics and basic marketing metrics.
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify trends and convert them into relevant content.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with e-commerce brands, consumer products or D2C businesses.
• Experience running or assisting with Meta Ads.
• Basic knowledge of influencer marketing and creator collaborations.
• Photography/product videography skills.
• Experience using Canva, CapCut and Meta Business Suite.
• Understanding of WhatsApp marketing and customer communities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Performance will primarily be evaluated on:

• Growth in social media reach and followers
• Reels/video views and engagement
• Engagement rate
• Content consistency and quality
• Growth of WhatsApp/social communities
• Leads generated through social media
• Traffic and sales attributable to social media campaigns
