Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and improving manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements and production plans.
• Manage manpower, machines, materials, and production resources effectively.
• Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks, delays, and inefficiencies.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to quality standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
• Track production performance, rejection, rework, downtime, and productivity.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reduce manufacturing costs, material wastage, rejection, and machine downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Maintain production records, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Train, guide, and motivate production supervisors and shop-floor employees.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of production equipment in coordination with the Maintenance team.
• Support new product introduction, process improvements, and capacity enhancement projects.
• Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
