Job TitlePressing Man / Ironing Operator
Job SummaryResponsible for ironing, pressing, and finishing garments to ensure a clean, wrinkle-free appearance. Handles clothes carefully, organizes items using laundry carts/trolleys, and maintains quality standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesIron and press garments, uniforms, linens, and other fabric items.
- Operate steam irons and pressing equipment safely.
- Sort, fold, and organize clothes before and after pressing.
- Use laundry carts/trolleys to transport garments within the work area.
- Check garments for stains, damages, or missing items and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of ironing stations and equipment.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of pressing tasks.
- RequirementsExperience in garment pressing, laundry, or ironing operations preferred.
- Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate ironing techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Physically fit to move laundry carts and garments.
