PositionStaff Nurse
Job SummaryFamily Care Clinic is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to provide quality patient care and support day-to-day clinical operations. The candidate will be responsible for nursing care, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, administering medications and vaccinations, and collecting blood samples for laboratory investigations.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Nursing Care
- Assess and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and health concerns.
- Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, dressings, and vaccinations.
- Monitor patient conditions and provide appropriate nursing care.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
Phlebotomy & Laboratory Services
- Collect blood samples and other specimens as per standard protocols.
- Ensure accurate labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety during sample collection.
- Follow infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Maintain records related to laboratory investigations and sample collections.
Clinic Operations
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of consultation and treatment areas.
- Monitor inventory of medicines, vaccines, and medical consumables.
- Support health camps, wellness programs, and vaccination drives.
- Adhere to clinic policies, quality standards, and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Qualifications & ExperienceGNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Registration Certificate.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in blood sample collection (phlebotomy) is mandatory.
- Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Skills RequiredStrong clinical and patient-care skills.
- Proficiency in blood collection and specimen handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude.
