Store Incharge

Job Summary

The Store In-Charge is responsible for the efficient management of the company's stores, including receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and standard components used in the manufacturing of leak testing and automation machines. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring timely material availability for production, and following company inventory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans.

• Verify quantity, quality, and specifications of received materials and report discrepancies.

• Maintain proper storage and identification of all inventory items.

• Issue materials to production and assembly departments based on authorized requisitions.

• Update stock records in ERP/Excel/software on a daily basis.

• Monitor inventory levels and inform the Purchase Department about reorder requirements.

• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.

• Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices wherever applicable.

• Ensure proper labeling and organization of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and consumable items.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Quality departments for smooth material flow.

• Maintain records of inward, outward, rejected, and returned materials.

• Ensure proper documentation of GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, and inventory reports.

• Company Asset Tracking.

• Monitor and control shortages, excess stock, and obsolete materials.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and 5S standards within the store area.

• Support annual inventory audits and provide necessary documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures. Required Skills

• Knowledge of store and inventory management practices.

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components used in automation machinery.

• Experience in handling bearings, sensors, cylinders, valves, fasteners, motors, cables, PLC accessories, and pneumatic fittings. • Basic understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and production requirements.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management software.

• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to work independently and under deadlines.
