A Senior Interior Designer leads design projects from concept to completion, manages client relationships, and oversees junior designers while ensuring high-quality, functional, and aesthetically strong interiors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership

Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and design themes

Translate client requirements into design solutions

Ensure designs align with brand, budget, and timelines

2. Project Management

Handle multiple projects (residential, commercial, retail, etc.)

Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants

Client Interaction

Meet clients to understand needs and preferences

Present design ideas, layouts, and material selections

Handle feedback and revisions professionally

Technical Expertise

Create detailed drawings:

Floor plans

3D visualizations

Working drawings

Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations

Team Management

Guide and mentor junior designers

Review their work for quality and accuracy

Delegate tasks efficiently

Required Skills

Strong design sense (space planning, color, materials)

Proficiency in tools like:

AutoCAD

SketchUp / 3ds Max
