Position: Interior Designer – Corporate Interiors

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Interior Designer to work on corporate and commercial interior projects from initial concept development through detailed design, coordination and execution.

The candidate should be capable of balancing design aesthetics, functionality, client requirements, budgets and site feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

* Understand client requirements and develop appropriate design concepts.

* Prepare space plans, furniture layouts and presentation drawings.

* Develop mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes and design presentations.

* Prepare detailed 2D drawings, elevations, sections and working drawings.

* Develop or coordinate 3D views and realistic renders for client presentations.

* Prepare detailed drawings for partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, furniture, reception areas, meeting rooms and other interior elements.

* Coordinate electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, networking and other MEP requirements with the overall interior design.

* Select appropriate finishes, furniture, lighting, fabrics and materials considering design, durability, availability and budget.

* Coordinate with vendors and obtain technical information, samples and specifications.

* Work closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure designs are practical and executable.

* Conduct site visits, take measurements and verify site conditions before finalizing drawings.

* Resolve design-related queries and drawing discrepancies during execution.

* Incorporate client/consultant comments and maintain proper drawing revisions.

* Ensure approved designs and specifications are correctly implemented at site.

* Assist the estimation/procurement team with specifications and material requirements.

* Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation at completion.

Software: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape/V-Ray and Photoshop. Knowledge of Revit or other BIM/design software will be an advantage.
