Quality & VMC Programmer

• Job ResponsibilitiesVMC programming, setting and operation.
• Prepare and modify CNC/VMC programs as per drawings and 3D models.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T and machining tolerances.
• Select cutting tools and optimize cutting parameters.
• Perform tool setting, work offsets and program prove-out.
• Inspect components using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspection.
• Identify dimensional issues and make necessary machining/program corrections.
• Maintain inspection reports and quality records.
• Ensure components meet customer drawing and quality requirements.
• Support production to reduce rejection, rework and cycle time.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for machining and quality issues.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of VMC programming and machining.
• Good knowledge of G-code / M-code.
• Experience with Fanuc/Mitsubishi/Siemens controls preferred.
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot machining and dimensional problems.
• CMM knowledge will be an added advantage.
• CAM software knowledge such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, PowerMill, NX, etc. is preferred.

QualificationITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering

Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in precision machining, automotive components, jigs & fixtures, press tools and general engineering components will be preferred.

Salary: Based on experience and technical skills.
