Maintenance Executive 

Role Overview

The Maintenance Executive ensures that all physical infrastructure, equipment, and facilities of the MOD retail store & Kitchen are in optimal working condition. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, hygienic environment and preventing operational downtime through proactive upkeep and timely repairs.

Position Details

- Department: Maintenance Dept.

- Reports To: Manager - Maintenance

- Employment Type: Full-Time

- Work Schedule: Rotational Shifts (including weekends and public holidays)

- Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

- Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including fryers, proofers, mixers, and conveyors. Service display cases, refrigeration units, coffee machines, and POS hardware. Conduct regular inspections.

- Facility Upkeep: Maintain store premises, including lighting, signage, and structural integrity. Manage plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. 

- Safety & Compliance: Maintain fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and first-aid kits. 

- Support & Coordination: Work with the Maintenance Manager to schedule maintenance with minimal business disruption. Assist with store setups and renovations. 

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.

- 2–4 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in food retail, QSR, hospitality, or FMCG.

- Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment is highly desirable.

- Core knowledge of electrical, and general civil maintenance.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
