Store Keeper

1. Job Responsibilities

Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.

Check materials for damage, shortages, and discrepancies during receipt.

Maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials.

Issue materials to the production department as per approved material requisitions.

Maintain stock registers and update inventory records regularly.

Arrange and store materials properly with identification labels.

Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables.

Conduct regular physical stock verification.

Inform the Store In-Charge about low stock levels and material shortages.

Maintain proper documentation, including GRN, material issue slips, and stock reports.

Keep the store area clean, organized, and safe.

Coordinate with the purchase and production departments for material requirements.

2. Required Qualifications

10th / 12th pass or ITI preferred.

Previous experience in storekeeping or inventory management is an advantage.

Basic computer knowledge and MS Excel skills preferred.

Knowledge of material handling and stock maintenance procedures.

3. Required Skills

Material inward and outward management.

Stock counting and inventory control.

Record keeping and documentation.

Basic computer operation.

Good communication and coordination.

Attention to detail and time management.

4. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate stock records.

Ensure timely material issuance.

Prevent material loss and damage.

Maintain proper storage arrangements.

Report stock discrepancies to the Store In-Charge.

Follow company policies and safety procedures.
