Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing procurement of fire safety equipment, materials, spare

parts, and services while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, timely delivery, and

proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Identify and procure fire safety equipment such as fire alarms, sprinklers,

smoke detectors, extinguishers, hydrant systems, etc.

·        Ensure materials meet project specifications, BOQs, and comply with fire

safety standards (NFPA, IS, UL, etc.).

·        Evaluate and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and

compliance.

·        Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions

with suppliers.

·        Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), quotations, and all related

procurement documentation.

·        Track and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and safe arrival at project

sites.

·        Maintain an updated vendor database and regularly evaluate vendor

performance.

·        Coordinate with design, execution, and project teams for technical

requirements and material planning.

·        Maintain accurate records of POs, invoices, delivery challans, and inspection

reports.

·        Monitor procurement budgets and prepare comparative cost analysis to

support decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree/diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a

related field.

·        2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in fire & safety,

MEP, construction, or engineering.

·        Knowledge of fire safety products and materials is preferred.

·        Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.

·        Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally/purchase software.
