Inventory Manager

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage receiving, storage, issuing and dispatch of fabrics, trims, accessories, packing material and finished garments.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory software, and ensure every movement is entered on time.
• Plan and monitor stock levels, reorder points and safety stock in coordination with purchase, production and sales teams.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock verification and annual stocktaking; investigate and resolve variances.
• Manage size, colour, style and SKU-wise inventory for finished goods and ensure accurate labelling and barcoding.
• Monitor ageing, slow-moving and dead stock; recommend liquidation or reuse plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers, production, quality control and logistics for timely material flow.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO and sound warehouse layout, bin location and housekeeping practices.
• Prepare and share regular MIS reports: stock position, consumption, ageing, variance and inventory valuation.
• Ensure documentation compliance: GRN, challans, issue slips, returns, invoices and e-way bills where applicable.
• Lead, train and supervise the store and warehouse staff.
• Support audits and ensure safety, security and compliance in storage areas.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management.
• Must have working knowledge of inventory management software (ERP, WMS or similar, such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Inventory, Busy or any equivalent).
• Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Good command of MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reports).
• Strong understanding of stock control methods, stock valuation and inventory KPIs.
