Electronics Technician

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC Drives, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial PCBs.

•Perform component-level fault finding and repair of electronic circuit boards.

•Diagnose faults using multimeter, oscilloscope, DC power supply, LCR meter, and other testing equipment.

•Identify and replace faulty components such as ICs, MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, capacitors, resistors, relays, regulators, and other electronic components.

•Perform SMD and through-hole soldering/desoldering and PCB rework.

•Understand and analyze circuit diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets.

•Troubleshoot power supply, control, communication, and drive-related PCB faults.

•Test repaired PCBs/equipment under appropriate operating conditions.

•Maintain repair records, fault reports, and details of replaced components.

•Ensure repaired equipment meets required performance and quality standards.

Follow proper ESD, electrical safety, and workshop safety procedures.

Required Skills

•Strong knowledge of industrial electronics and PCB troubleshooting.

•Practical experience in Drive, PLC, HMI, and PCB repair.

•Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

•Good understanding of SMPS, inverter circuits, IGBT/MOSFET power stages, control circuits, and communication circuits.

•Good soldering and PCB rework skills.

•Ability to diagnose faults independently.

•Ability to read circuit diagrams and datasheets.

•Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
